Operation D.A.P (Dues Already Paid)

Waiting for the parade.

My boy's in the front in the middle.

The kids and I couldn't have possibly crammed more in on this Saturday, but we had a blast and they were such troopers. My boy was in our town parade with his boyscout troop and we had to be there bright and early, and it was FREEZING!

These shirts were made for all the veterans.

Alice, aka wonder woman.

Then we headed over to the hunt club to help out with the hunt day for wounded veterans called Operation D.A.P (Dues Already Paid). The women were in charge of breakfast and lunch and the hunt club fed the veterans dinner. We headed out to a birthday party for a friend after lunch then went back to the hunt club. We were all pooped by the time we got home, but I was so proud to be a part of this day to show support to our veterans.

These hats were also given to all the men.

It was heart warming to see how many people were willing to help out with this event. It was a successful day for the inaugural hunt. Three deer were shot and fun was had by all. Can't wait for next year!
